Hermes Mac Read Only

Privacy Notice

Effective 16 October 2026

Purpose and permissions

This private integration accesses Google information only to fulfill its owner’s authorized requests, such as finding email, reviewing a schedule, locating files, and summarizing documents. Each account is authorized separately.

The requested permissions are Gmail read-only, Calendar read-only, Drive read-only, Docs read-only, and Sheets read-only. These permissions do not allow changing Google account content.

Storage

Google OAuth credentials are stored separately for each account in private local files on the owner’s computer. Retrieved information may be retained in local conversation history, tool outputs, backups, or files requested by the owner. Read-only Google permissions do not prevent local storage of information already read.

Cloud processing and delivery

Relevant Google content may be sent to the owner’s configured cloud AI providers through an inference service to answer a request. Responses may be delivered through the owner’s messaging service. This is not exclusively on-device processing. Connected providers’ terms and data-handling settings also apply.

Use restrictions

Google information is used to provide the private assistant’s requested features. It is not sold, used for advertising, or offered through a public service. Google data must not be used to train generalized AI models. Access and use must comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Revocation and deletion

The owner can revoke future Google access in Google Account connections. Revocation does not automatically erase previously retained copies. The owner manages deletion of local credentials, histories, backups, and any retained copies in connected services.
